Behind the lens

Hello! I'm Bea, the eye behind Elope in Copenhagen. I’m originally from Helsinki, but Denmark has been home for the past five years – you can trust, that I know all the most aesthetic photo spots that Copenhagen has to offer.
I approach elopement photography with the same editorial sensibility as my fashion work, emphasizing movement, light, and thoughtful composition.
It's important for me to capture your day in a way that feels effortless and authentic to you. I will gently guide you through the shoot to make you feel at ease, but I’ll always tune into your energy as a couple.
Looking forward to getting to know you! <3

A FEW QUICK tips for planning an elopement in copenhagen

   •  Inside Copenhagen City Hall, (artificial) flower bouquets are available to rent for your ceremony + a few hours after! Great if you're planning to use them as photo props only.
   •  The ceremony itself is very short and usually only lasts around 5-15 minutes, so the experience is really about everything around it.
   •  If you’re eloping just the two of you, the city will provide witnesses for free. It’s one of the reasons Copenhagen is so easy for international couples.
   •  Most couples choose to marry in the City Hall (which is gorgeous!), but you can actually have a registrar come to a location of your choice for your ceremony for an additional fee.
   •  Book your official ceremony slot earlier than you think (especially for Saturdays). Time slots can fill up pretty quickly, often around 8-12 weeks in advance.
   •  You’ll need to show your documents in person before the ceremony
If you’re coming from abroad, you’ll typically need to present your passports/IDs at City Hall shortly before your wedding (often the day before).
